Another Dai tomb is located at Bhogiwal north side of Shalamar garden. Quadrangular in the plan, the tomb stands on a raised platform. The tomb chamber is enclosed by walls with arch openings on each side and topped by two shells of the domes. There is a projected eave on all four sides supported on brackets. The inner shell is hemispherical and slightly pointed while the outer shell is eight-sided and elliptical in construction. The eight-sided dome is the only example of its type at Lahore. Its origin can be traced to Sultan Ghari’s tomb built by Sultan Iltutmish at Delhi in 1231 AD. On the top of the dome, a lotus base is still retained for pinnacle which has been lost to time. There are four turrets, one on each corner of the tomb. The façade was plastered and divided into rectangular panels framed by slightly raised borders.
