Tomb of Dai Anga

The mausoleum was built in honor of Dai Anga, the wet nurse of Shah Jahan, and wife of Murad Khan of Bikaner. The tomb was built in the middle of the garden built by the Persian nobleman Mirza Sultan Baig. The original tomb was located in the subterranean chamber which is not accessible now. She was buried next to her daughter Sultana Begum. The original garden was 250 Gaz on each side. The tomb of planned on fourfold pattern. The central chamber is covered with double dome. There are four kiosk (chatris), one in each corner of the roof. The exterior facade is divided into rectangular panels and finished with lime plaster. The parapet wall is decorated with mudakhil pattern executed in glazed tiles.

The tomb was decorated with fresco paintings. Most of the original painting still preserved in its original form. In addition, Quranic inscription decorate the upper band of central chamber. The calligraphy was carried out by renowned calligrapher Muhammad Saleh.
