Khanqah of Hafiz Hayat is located in Gujrat District adjacent to the University of Gujrat. The saint settled in a remote settlement along the highway that connected Kabul with Indo Gangetic doab and areas beyond. The Khanqah is situated on a historic mound containing a baradari, a mosque, the tomb of the saint, and a residential building or saarai. The site is in dilapidated form and needs authentic conservation after careful archaeological investigations. The Khanqah is decorated with fresco paintings.
