The pietra dura work on muqurnas capital of columns is the finest among Shah Jahani buidings. A single floral pattern over a minute muqarnas niche, measuring 2¼ inches by 1¾ inches, is formed by as many as 102 minute inlaid pieces of semi-precious stones.  There is a fine jail work on the western side.
