The mosque was designed on an elevated platform accommodating shops on the ground floor. It was built in 1753 AD by Bhikari Khan.32 It has overhanging balconies carved with a profusion of geometrical tracery and fresco decoration. There is a hauz for ablution in the middle of the courtyard. of The mosque has three-gilt melon-like domes. The mosque is a landmark being its location at the junction of Kasera bazaar and Kashmiri Bazaar.
