The tomb of Abd al-Nabi Khan (d.1669 AD), an official in both Shah Jahan’s and Aurangzeb’s governments is located in Kali Suba, Lahore Narowal Road. He served at one point as the judicial magistrate (qāzī) of Wazirabad and eventually as the army commander (faujdār) of Mathura district from 1668 AD until he was shot and killed while attempting to put down a rebellion of Jat peasants less than a year later. The tomb was built in brickwork and partly finished with glazed tiles. The tomb has four minarets and a monumental dome rest on a circular drum. Square in the plan, the tomb is the most impressive and largest among all sub-imperial tombs in Pakistan. This double storied tomb once finished with fair face brickwork and kashi kari. The traces of Kashi Kari is found over the minarets which closely resembles the minarets of Wazir Khan Mosque. The Pishtaqs are decorated with kalib kati and muqarnas.
