Syed Jalal ud Din Surkhposh Bukhari was born in Bukhara in 595 AH (1199 AD). He came to Multan to meet Hazrat Baha ud Din Zakriya. He got khilafat and came to Uchchh in 641 AH and stayed there until his death in 1291 AD.
The tomb is situated on the highest contour of the town in the southwestern corner of the town. It has a rectangular plan with flat roof resting on wooden posts. The wooden pillars are similar to other flat roof tombs inspired from Central Asian wooden architecture. The distance between the pillars varies. The ceiling is decorated with lacquer paint except the ceiling over the grave of the saint which has tarseembandi decoration. The tomb adjoins the mosque and room on the western wall. The western wall is not straight rather it is leaning out towards the southwestern corner. The internal wall surfaces are plastered and divided into panels. A large panel in the western wall is finished with faience mosaic. The main entrance door is intricately carved in floral design. The wall on the other side within the porch was decorated with fresco paintings. There are four ventilators on the eastern wall having intricate wooden grills carved in geometrical designs. The entire facade of the tomb is decorated with faience and faience mosaic revetment.
Attached to the tomb is a mosque built in 1845 by Nawab Bahawal Khan. The interior of the mosque is most ornate than other mosques of Uchchh. The mosque is 36 feet by 64 feet 9 inches. The structure rest on 18 wooden posts. The mihrab is framed with wooden borders inscribed with word Allah in Kufic script. There are four blind arches two on the either side of the mihrab. These arches are decorated with faience and faience mosaic.
