Material and Method of Construction: Brick construction and finined with glazed tiles.
The tomb of Hazrat Rajan Qattal was built in 1433. Syed Rajan Qatal was real real brother of Makhdoom Jahanian Jahangasht. The rectangular structure features a covered portico on its north-eastern corner. The outer facades are cladded with geometrically patterned glazed tiles, set in a terracotta base. The flat roof is supported on two rows of wooden columns dividing the hall into three bays on north south axis. Each row contains 7 posts. The brackets on the columns support beams spanning in four directions. The wooden posts have special design. At a height of 6 feet from their base, 12-sided post takes squaree shape by means of muqarnas. Below the muqarnas there are margola patterns. the design makes interior much more interesting. The roof has a very fine tarseembandi on the eastern bay while the middle and western bays are supported on wooden battens and highly decorated in floral designs in lacquer paints. The grave of the saint rest on 3 feet high platform.
The eastern facade of the tomb is highly decorated with glazed tiles in geometrical patterns and floral designs. The northern segment of eastern facade is dividedd into four rectangular frames. Each frame has two recessed arches. The third arch on the northeastern corner has a wooden grill providing light and ventilation to the interior. The solid plane surfaces within the arches have nokhani patterns in white and sky-blue glazed tiles. The parapet wall has mudakkhil pattern in sky-blue and cobalt blue tiles.
