Wazir Khan baradari is situated in the Anarkali area. It was situated in a large garden once spread over the large area and contained a water system including water channels and cascades and abundant palm trees. It was subsequently occupied by the Sikhs and by the English to construct army barracks. Subsequently, public buildings were constructed over its lawns. At present only a grand baradari survive which shows its past glory. The baradari rest on a high plinth. It is square in plan and designed on the concept of four-fold symmetry. The main feature is the central vaulted hall surrounded by galleries. The openings with bracketed chajja occupy the center of the upper floor of each face and four centered multifoil arches on either side. The baradari was plastered and decorated with kalib kari and fresco paintings.  Four square chhatris, one on every corner makes the building prominent. The chhatri’s rest on pillars with sloping chajjas (eaves) and capped by cupolas.  Water tanks in the middle of each side of the plinth platform had fountains in them from where waterfall into the channels on each side. A waterfall on the east face of the plinth still survives.
